My favorite telling of the beanstalk and the giant so far.Mickey Donald Duck and Goofy live together on farm. Mickey ends up selling their cow bestie after the golden harp is stolen from Happy Valley. The beans grow over night into a beanstalk which they climb finding food and the golden harp which they rescue and the giant falls to the center of the earth with everything being restoredFun retelling of the original story. Because it is Disney, children get to read about some familiar characters in a classic story.
Disney did a very cute job at retelling "Jack and the magic beanstalk" using Mickey, Donald and Goofy as the main characters. A story that little boys or girls would enjoy having read to them or reading themselves.

How I love these Disney books. Already loved the story of Jack & the Beanstalk and throwing in my boys Mickey, Goofy, and Donald only made it better. Great illustrations of old school Disney quality.
This book is a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. Dina Anastasio replaces Jack with Mickey Mouse instead. This may children more interested in the book because it has a familiar character.
It's okay if the reader never knows about the original, non-Disney version.
