Five people looking for a reason to keep living are about to find it in the last place they expected. After the loss of his wife, Roman Paulson's life revolves around his son Billy. As a football hero at the University of Nebraska, Billy has a promising life ahead of him. As Billy's coach begins encroaching on Roman's relationship with his son—especially when he brings God into Billy's life—Roman starts to fear he'll lose Billy forever. Nothing could prepare Roman for what is about to happen. Roman isn't the only one whose life has been turned upside down. He's one of five people whose lives are about to intersect on a bright, fall day, when one of them will hold up a sign at a football game with a short message: "John 3:16." This simple act of faith will have the power to change lives forever.

Assessment Based On Books John 3:16
I really like it so far...I finally found out what the blank red signs were about!

his book wasn't what I thought it would be, but was great anyways. Based on the front and back covers I was expecting a story about a man who displayed the sign John 3:16 in the stands of a football games and the way it affected people who saw it. While a sign does get shown at a football game and peoples lives are changed, it just didn't happen the way I thought it was going too.[return][return]The book keep me wondering what was going to happen next and how the characters were going to find

"We don't know what the future holds but we know who holds the future". I've been a Christian for awhile now, and had forgotten so many of the special moments and hard decisions that I had to make once I gave my life completely over to the Lord. It may sound funny sometimes when I try to explain my decision to surrender control of my life and give it over to the Master but I have no regrets. Please don't judge Nancy's book by its cover; this story is so much more intriguing than what you seen on

This book is "in your face" Christian and not ashamed of it. It's an interesting novel about a number of people whose lives are drastically changed. The big change doesn't take place until very late in the book--there is a whole lot of "lead-up" before that moment. It was a very moving story, but not a "downer." B+. 02/07/08

I liked the book. I picked it up mostly because of the cover, so I really didn't know what I was going to get into, though I had some ideas given the title of the book. Some may say, Oh it was too Christian or whatever. Um, hello, look at the title. It may be a writing of fiction, but could easily be somebody's life. I would suggest it as a to be read, sooner than later.

excellent read, wonderful plots weaving in and out of each other's lives and based in the midwest, love this author!

I liked the path of the story and the way the characters were woven together. A satisfying easy read.
