Him (Him & Her #1)
That guy. The one she compared all others to. The one who set the bar so high no other guy after him could even compete. The one who made her feel like anything was possible. The one she thought she would never be good enough for. The one she spent the last seven years trying to forget.
All she needs to do is make it through the next week without running into him.
"You are not plain. You are beautiful, Sarah, inside and out."I adore Carey Heywood so when she asked me if I would like an ARC of Him I almost passed out, because holy crap, this book was amazing! I loved this author's other book, Stages of Grace so when I heard about an even hotter book from her, I was dying for it! There is something about this author's writing that makes her stand out compared to some other authors! Her writing style is fresh and straight to the point! I feel like I don't

And though he dated another girl in High School, they remained inseparable. But Sarah had a secret. She didnt just love her best friend, she was in love with her best friend. And being
4 Mouth watering stars for HIM!! (Damn why would anyone want to run away from him)!!Loved the concept of the story but got a bit glazed eyed with her need to run without just talking to "HIM", felt like getting my frying pan out and hitting her over the head!! Hanging out for Book 2!!
This second chance at love trope just didnt quite feel complete to me. What caught my attention and appealed most was its book cover. Frankly, its nice to see a fully-dressed gorgeous male specimen for a change and this one ranked high. The back and forth switch from Past to Present served well in telling this tale. There were times when my threshold for believability was stretched and I had to fight to get back in the story. Its hard to understand how a young girl of 18 with a very closely-knit

This book is awesome...except when it isn't. I loved the relationship between the H and h as it is as sweet and wonderful like first loves are supposed to be. I will re-read the parts I loved, but skip the rest. Here is what bugged me:The blossoming love between them was beautiful and when I read the reason for their break-up I was disappointed. The H and h have been BFF's forever and spent all their time together. They knew each other, so when 'the incident' occurred I don't understand why the h"You are not plain.
