I went into this book not really knowing what I was getting into. For the most part, I have always been a romance reader, but I am a book lover first and foremost. I have been trying to reach outside my normal TBR list to find some different stories being told by new authors. I enjoyed reading, Save Him by William M. Hayes, who in my opinion, is a brilliant writer who has designed a unique and exciting plot of scientist Rydel Scott going back in time to save Christ. Interesting...? I guess...?The first thing I want to say about this book is that I have mixed feelings. Its very complicated for me because this book was given to me during the worst possible time. Im currently in the middle of transitioning The Rebel Christian into a blog that exclusively reviews Christian materialbooks, music, or even Christian businesses. So, reading Save Him was partly bad timing and partly just not my cup of tea. Let me explain a little further. Hayes reached out to me



This book held my attention from the opening and I found myself going to bed early just to read it each night (for the three nights it lasted). I had a bit of a crush on Ray from the beginning. The characters are facing unprecedented circumstances, and each member of the mission faces his own demons as faith is questioned and tested. I am looking forward to friends reading this so I have some people I can discuss it with. Definitely good for dinner conversation or book club. I recommend it.
