Combining aspects of time travel and religion, Save Him by William M. Hayes develops a fantastic depiction in which the 21st century and Jesuss era become one.Hidden away from the publics eye in upstate New York is a military lab where ground-breaking research has led to the creation of advanced military gear that has never been developed before. Behind the fascinating inventions is Rydel Scott, a military scientist working with a military unit led by Ray Catlin, the leader of an elite Special

I went into this book not really knowing what I was getting into. For the most part, I have always been a romance reader, but I am a book lover first and foremost. I have been trying to reach outside my normal TBR list to find some different stories being told by new authors. THIS book fits that bill and then some!Save Him is an extremely well-written story about an elite military unit, "The Unit", and their mission to go back in time to prevent Rydel from saving Jesus from the cross. Although

Save Him by William M. Hayes is a time travel story about a scientist named Rydel Scott who works at the Genesis Lab in upstate New York creating new technology for the military. After he stumbles across a way to travel back in time, his terminally ill sister convinces him that he must use this discovery to prevent Jesus's death on the cross. The Unit, an elite military group led by Ray Catlin, is sent to stop him before it's too late and bring him back. But once on the mission, the Unit becomes

I enjoyed reading, Save Him by William M. Hayes, who in my opinion, is a brilliant writer who has designed a unique and exciting plot of scientist Rydel Scott going back in time to save Christ. I enjoy the way the author used short chapters to magnify the intense action, suspense, twists and turns, unexpected events, which increased in intensity as I read on.I enjoyed the way the author described the time travel journey and seeing Christ in this scene,The faithful entered the arched gateway into

Interesting...? I guess...?The first thing I want to say about this book is that I have mixed feelings. Its very complicated for me because this book was given to me during the worst possible time. Im currently in the middle of transitioning The Rebel Christian into a blog that exclusively reviews Christian materialbooks, music, or even Christian businesses. So, reading Save Him was partly bad timing and partly just not my cup of tea. Let me explain a little further. Hayes reached out to me

This book held my attention from the opening and I found myself going to bed early just to read it each night (for the three nights it lasted). I had a bit of a crush on Ray from the beginning. The characters are facing unprecedented circumstances, and each member of the mission faces his own demons as faith is questioned and tested. I am looking forward to friends reading this so I have some people I can discuss it with. Definitely good for dinner conversation or book club. I recommend it.
